For me, it is a reminder that baseball is what I do, but it is not who I am. Playing baseball means you will experience a lot of failure. And failure means you will learn. It also may have a long term impact on your earnings.
Talent is things that you do well, while habits are things you do well repeatedly without thought. Skills are things you do well repeatedly without thought while under stress.
And skills pay the bills.
Baseball is a great sport that ultimately helps you win at the game of life.
My personal mission in life is to be significant by serving millions and bringing them into a relationship with Christ starting with my wife, Kelli, and our daughters, Mackenzi and Mackenna.
