2 of our top L.E.A.D. Ambassadors discuss what it takes to be a good teammate

posted on June 16, 2021

In addition to my successful for-profit business, Diamond Directors, my wife Kelli and I are co-founders of L.E.A.D. which stands for Launch, Expose, Advise, Direct.

Our L.E.A.D. core values include:

  • Excellence – meeting expectations
  • Humility – not thinking of yourself less so that you can serve others more
  • Integrity – doing the right thing even when you can do the wrong thing
  • Loyalty – doing the right thing for the right reasons, even if they’re not popular
  • Stewardship – protector of your values and people
  • Teamwork – being your best within a group of people who are being their best for a specific purpose

Teamwork is often preached by coaches but rarely defined. As you can see, LEAD has a definition for teamwork and we expect it to be adhered to which converts it from a value to a virtue.

JaKari and Jaylen Wade are brothers. As LEAD Ambassadors, both have been certified as professional instructors by me, which is a comprehensive process.

Here is what JaKari and Jaylen have to say about teamwork:
