Today, Brandon Thomas is a well-known outfielder on the GA Tech baseball team. It’s his sophomore year, and if Brandon keeps improving his game, there’s no telling where baseball could take him. So how did Brandon get to this point? Through a lot of hard work!
Brandon has been working with CJ Stewart at Diamond Directors since he was 13 years old. When he first began training, he had a lot of natural athletic ability, but lacked the coordination and skill he has now. Among other tactics, CJ recommended one-on-one training, video analysis and group training to help build coordination and improve his skill level.
During group training, Brandon worked with lots of college players. As he became more comfortable around them, it became a very team-like atmosphere, allowing Brandon to ask questions about how or why they were doing certain things to up their games. The group sessions also gave Brandon a chance to break away from the constant instruction that occurred in the one-on-one sessions and practice what he’d absorbed.
The combination of focused one-on-one training, video analysis and group training has helped Brandon Thomas attain his position on the GA Tech team, and will help him continue towards a successful career.
